Tilda is a fabric brand founded by Norwegian designer Tone Finnanger in 1999, best known for whimsical naive characters and charming fabric design. There is a certain attitude to life in Tilda’s world, whimsical and romantic, like a ball gown worn with wellies – perfectly imperfect!

Tilda Classic Basics range is premium quality, high thread count 100% cotton.  OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1 Certified - Independently tested and approved for skin contact, making it suitable for all ages, including babies and those with sensitive skin.

Fabric Details:

Tilda Doll Fabric

100% Premium Cotton

Wash at 30-60 degrees centigrade.  Maximum shrinkage of 3-4%.  Can be tumble dried on low heat.  Dark colours may bleed on first wash, wash separately or with similar colours.

How to Order:

We sell our fabric in measurements of fat quarters which we cut by hand from the bolt. 

A fat quarter is cut as a length of 50cms x half the width of the fabric.  Multiples of fat quarters are cut as a continuous piece.

For example:

Two fat quarters would measure 50cms x the full width of the fabric.

Four fat quarters would measure 1m x the full width of the fabric.
