A beautiful, delicate lace weight yarn.  The blend of 65% Superwash Merino 20% Silk 15% Yak makes a super soft yarn with a silky sheen and the natural grey colour of the yak brings added depth to the dye colours.  This is a luxurious yarn most suited to lightweight shawls.

Suitable as weft only for weaving

To care for your finished item we recommend hand washing only at a cool temperature with a gentle detergent or specialist wool wash.  While every care has been taken to remove excess dye some light bleeding may still occur.

Our Hand Dyed Yarn

Our yarn is dyed and finished by hand in our dedicated studio.  We take great care at every stage of processing and each skein is checked before sale to ensure it meets our high standards.   

As with all hand dyed yarns variations can occur from skein to skein and between batches, if you are using more than one skein of the same colourway in a project we recommend alternating skeins every one or two rows.
