Tonal deep mustard yellow

Our Highland 4Ply is another great allrounder, it's 100% Peruvian Highland Wool, non superwash, with a slightly rustic (but still soft) texture which makes it fantastic for fairisle/colourwork projects.  This yarn has a lovely stitch definition and holds its shape so works well for garments and accessories and even socks where a smaller gauge will provide more strength.  Highland 4Ply is suitable for weaving.  Colourways tend to have more variation of tone across the skein and speckles are blurred and muted.

Available in 100G, 50G and 20G skeins.  We also stock a DK version of this yarn.

To care for your finished item we recommend hand washing only at a cool temperature with a gentle detergent or specialist wool wash.  While every care has been taken to remove excess dye some light bleeding may still occur.

Our Hand Dyed Yarn

Our yarn is dyed and finished by hand in our dedicated studio.  We take great care at every stage of processing and each skein is checked before sale to ensure it meets our high standards.

As with all hand dyed yarns variations can occur from skein to skein and between batches, if you are using more than one skein of the same colourway in a project we recommend alternating skeins every one or two rows.

We offer Dye to Order on most of our colourways and core bases (depending on current undyed stock levels) please check our Dye to Order section for further information and to place an order.

Our product photographs are taken using professional studio lights as we don't have much natural daylight available at our studio.  We do our best to provide accurate colour representation in our images however we cannot account for settings on individual devices.
