One of our all time favourite yarn bases, this blend of Superwash Merino, Silk and Yak feels so soft and luxurious and the natural grey fibres add a sophisticated, smokey depth to our colourways.  With its subtle sheen, great stitch definition and drape this yarn is perfect for accessories, garments and weaving.   We also stock a 4Ply version of this base.

Suitable for weaving

We recommend hand washing only at a cool temperature with a gentle detergent or specialist wool wash.  While every care has been taken to remove excess dye some light bleeding may still occur.

Our Hand Dyed Yarn

Our yarn is dyed and finished by hand in our dedicated studio.  We take great care at every stage of processing and each skein is checked before sale to ensure it meets our high standards.   

As with all hand dyed yarns variations can occur from skein to skein and between batches, if you are using more than one skein of the same colourway in a project we recommend alternating skeins every one or two rows.
