This is the perfect 4Ply/sock/fingering weight allrounder.  From subtle pastels to intense jewel shades all colours come out true and speckles are crisp.  It works well for socks, accessories, garments making a soft but durable fabric.  It is also great for weaving projects.  We also stock Merino Smooth Sock in 100g and 50g skeins.

Suitable for weaving

Can be machine washed on a gentle cycle at 30°C however, we always recommend hand washing at a cool temperature with a gentle detergent or specialist wool wash.  While every care has been taken to remove excess dye some light bleeding may still occur.

Our Hand Dyed Yarn

Our yarn is dyed and finished by hand in our dedicated studio.  We take great care at every stage of processing and each skein is checked before sale to ensure it meets our high standards.   

As with all hand dyed yarns variations can occur from skein to skein and between batches, if you are using more than one skein of the same colourway in a project we recommend alternating skeins every one or two rows.
